Outsiders are drawn to the call of adventure like moths to a flame. They crave the thrill of the unknown, the excitement of exploring foreign lands, and the challenge of pushing their limits. They understand that life is too short to be confined to a narrow existence dictated by societal norms. These individuals are the ones who pack their bags, leave their comfort zones behind, and set off on epic journeys that take them to places at the edge of their imagination.

OUTSIDERS

By breaking free from conformity, outsiders inspire others to question the validity of societal norms and consider alternative paths. They prove that it is possible to live a fulfilling life without adhering to the conventional script of education, career, marriage, and retirement. Instead, they write their own narratives, crafting lives that are uniquely their own.

Outsiders are often labeled as rebels or nonconformists because they refuse to conform to the expectations of society. They question the established norms and challenge the status quo. This rebellion is not driven by a desire to be contrarian, but rather by a deep-seated belief in the importance of authenticity and individuality.

They remind us that change is not only possible but necessary, and that the future belongs to those who are brave enough to question, to dream, and to challenge. In their madness lies a maverick that not only changes the world but also inspires each of us to think beyond the confines of the conventional, to embrace our unique perspectives, and perhaps, in our own way, to be a little crazy too.

This photo started it all for me. We were all outsiders. But we did not know it just yet back then. A band of misfits you can say. Usually at dawn, we would take a boat to cross the river Ganges to the desert- barren, unlived part of town. We would sit by the river bank as we watched the first sun rays cast on the ancient town of Varanasi. the guys would play music while we were at it. those were majestic mornings. And those were the first scenes I captured as a photographer.
